Whereby Partners with Open Path Collective to Support HIPAA-Compliant Care

That’s why we’re excited to announce our new partnership with Open Path Collective, a nonprofit directory supporting more than 35,000 vetted therapists across the US and Canada in providing affordable mental health care.

From January 2026, Whereby Meetings is now included as part of Open Path Collective’s member benefits, giving therapists access to a secure, user-friendly video call platform with a free HIPAA compliance add-on on eligible plans.

For therapists, virtual sessions need to be simple, reliable, and compliant without adding unnecessary cost or complexity. Through this partnership, Open Path Collective members on an annual Whereby Meetings Pro or Business plan can access HIPAA compliance at no additional cost.

This means therapists can focus on their clients, not their tech setup, while knowing their sessions meet HIPAA requirements for privacy and security.
