Earth Day 2022: Our Decarbonization Journey Starts Today
This Earth Day, we’re excited to announce a partnership with ESG reporting platform, Plan A, to reduce our impact on the planet. Read more about how we will tackle this.
It is no secret that our planet is in crisis. From forest fires to floods, the world we live in is being heavily impacted by climate change. As a company who are thriving to build a better, more connected world, we feel we have a responsibility to do what we can to become more sustainable and reduce our carbon footprint.
That’s why today, on Earth Day, we are delighted to announce our partnership with the leading decarbonization platform, Plan A. Using their ground-breaking software, we will measure and monitor our carbon footprint across all aspects of the business and create an action plan to guide us on our sustainability journey.

There is no Planet B
The time to act is now.
According to a recent study by INSEAD, 43% of companies do not yet have clear targets for reducing carbon emissions. Despite this, 75% stated that climate change is fundamental to the strategic success of their companies.
Here at Whereby, we’re taking action. After you helped us to plant a million trees in 2021, we knew there was more that we could do. So now we’re gathering data from all across the business, from server usage to transport, to measure our impact and decide an actionable plan to reduce our carbon emissions as a company.
Who are Plan A?
The end-to-end Plan A platform lets companies measure, monitor and reduce their environmental footprint and improve their ESG performance.
