A festive gift from Whereby

We’re making meetings for up to 50 people free during the festive season, so everyone can celebrate with each other, wherever they are in the world.

You’ll have heard it a thousand times already, but 2020 will certainly be a year we’ll never forget.

With all of us learning to adapt and change to the notion of “new normal”, one of the few places we’ve found pre-pandemic familiarity is from the people in our lives. I’m talking about our friends and family, our favorite colleagues or neighbors you never knew you had. Wherever you are in the world, human connections have been the thing that’s kept many of us going these past few months.

As we close in on the end of the year, many of us would usually be getting ready to celebrate the holiday season in person with the people we care about. But, as we all know, this year means that things are going to be quite different. With this in mind, the Whereby team has come together to help you and yours keep whatever traditions you hold dear going — pandemic or not.

From today, everyone, everywhere will be able to make unlimited video meetings for groups of up to 50 people on Whereby until Friday, January 8 2021. Wherever you are in the world, you’re just a click away from a shared festive celebration on Whereby.

Whether you and your family usually get together to prepare a big meal, or it’s tradition to gather with old school friends for a drink (or two), there’s no need to hit pause on your plans. All you need to do is share a room link with whoever’s invited and host your event on Whereby instead. Oh, and don’t forget to decorate your meeting room with our limited edition backgrounds — our design team has been hard at work creating themes that’ll make any get-together on Whereby extra special.
